Our Client is looking for a Business Analyst who will be primarily responsible but not limited to - Meeting with different stakeholders ranging from Loan Operating Systems (LOS) to Banking Systems to gather business requirements, understand the specifications, and translate them into technical requirements for the development team. The main application this role is going to support is specific to the mortgage or title industry, so industry experience is necessary to be successful in this role.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Must have Mortgage and Title Industry experience.
- Should be familiar with mortgage terminologies.
- Experience with collecting business requirements from internal & external stakeholders and translating them into technical specifications and User Acceptance Criteria for the scrum team.
- Able to interpret .xml codes and run GET/POST requests with different data sets.
- Knowledge on defect lifecycle, participate into defect triage calls and help development team to find out underlying root causes of the issues.
- Experienced to with Requirement and Bug management systems e.g. Jira, TFS, Azure Dev Ops (at least one).
- Proven ability to develop and execute SQL queries on a variety of Data Base platform.
- Must possess very good understanding on SDLC process and Agile/Scrum development principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO) experience.
- Hands on working experience with Software AG (SAG - Web Methods).
