As a Database and Application lead you will be confident and comfortable giving direction, delegating and setting expectations with our other team members on what to deliver.
Application lead for internal application for PO tracking.
Drive the development of database and Spark requirements from intake to design, and on to delivery and testing.
Troubleshoot issues during testing and while in production.
This is a hands-on role, writing code 75% of the time.
Take full ownership of the RDBMS landscape in Oracle PL/SQL,
Qualifications:
Database Engineer with 5+ years’ experience with Oracle PL/SQL
Experience in writing SQL scripts
Strong Spark experience in a production environment (not just Proof of Concept or side project experience.
Self-directed, self-starter, capable of working with the team to help bring them up to speed on the technical landscape.
Good understanding of how distributed frameworks work technically
Ability to explain business problems and have solved problems in the past and not just technically explained.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
Hands on experience troubleshooting issues during testing, as well as in production.
Good communication skills to communicate with offshore team, and manage them through design, development and testing of the requirements through delivery.
