2. Job Summary :"• Design, install, maintain and support LAN/WAN and Security infrastructure including Routers, Switches, WiFi controllers, using best practices.

• Experience in being the upper-tier escalation point for complex issues.

• Design, deploy and troubleshoot IP and wireless networks which includes enterprise IP networking, IP network security, authentication, certificates, network access controls, and IP network management.

• Design, Plan and deploy architectural improvements that will improve performance and reliability of the network (fixed and wireless) and/or fix network deficiencies.

•Build network designs for enterprise wide and Retail infrastructure initiatives.

•Trouble isolation and remediation at all layers 1-4 (IP, MAC, RF, and some application level).

•Proactively research, analyze and recommend new technologies to meet changing business needs.

•Improve the infrastructures uptime, performance and reliability.

• Secures network systems by establishing and enforcing policies.

• Monitor and optimize network performance for scalability, reliability and usability.

•Employ and Utilize monitoring / diagnosing tools to quickly resolve networking issues.

•Effectively work as part of a team, in a senior member capacity, to meet team goals and objectives.

•Participate in team projects in a lead engineering role.

•Perform and maintain proper documentation

•Providing elevated networking support of routing equipment, VOIP systems and traditional telecommunications (including LTE) systems.

• Managing and frequently updating network configuration settings for internal and external systems, including setting up DNS, DHCP, VPN, SD-WAN and VLANs.

• Modifying both core and edge routers and switch configurations as needed.

• Providing escalation support for technical production (infrastructure) issues and follow through to satisfactory resolution.

• Coordinating install, repair or maintenance of network and telecom hardware equipment.

• Working with IT Service Delivery, NOC and Operations Managers to maintain hardware and software inventory to ensure compliance and asset management.

• Documenting and logging changes to network equipment, computer systems, and other equipment.

•Accurately documenting all new system implementations and modifications to existing systems (moves, adds, changes).

•Researching and providing expertise on integration of third-party software and tools.

•Assisting in Disaster Recovery planning, development and implementation.

•Ensuring compliance with IT Security and Governance processes, such as Change control, SOX and PCI.

• Working with IT Management to identify and implement technical and service improvements.

• Ensuring technology documents/certificates such as product registrations, licensing, activations, SSL certificates, maintenance agreements, service contracts, etc. related to technology operations and/or technology services are evaluated, updated and processed.

•Ensuring networks, and associated software applications are operational ensures hardware and software is patched and/or updated ensures all analog and broadband circuits are operational in accordance with vendor specifications. •Ensuring the availability, continuity and security of data and information pertaining to the organization.
