Job Description:

Work as an integral member within the StrategicInnovations and Analytics team to provide key data science component to supportthe development of retail strategy. Support Strategic Innovations and AnalyticsManager by developing analytical solutions to improve business results.

Pursues problem identification and impact across largevehicle populations, leveraging data mining, predictive modeling, simulationand visualization techniques to further enhance insight and internalperformance optimization

?        Perform hands-on analysis, search pattern design,mining automation development and data reduction execution

?        Mentors others to develop analytical skill setsthroughout the organization

?        Maintain the latest knowledge in software and hardwareproducts or services, trends, and identify best solutions to meet businessrequirements

?        Establish strong working relationship with peer teamsto review requirements/problem areas and establish the appropriate statisticaltechniques to apply on available data

?        Drive the collection of new data and the refinement ofexisting data sources

?        Develop best practices for instrumentation andexperimentation and communicate those to peer teams

?        Analytics that support Complex Event Processing andReal-Time Event Processing in the context of Big Data

?        Acts as the subject matter expert for Data Analyticsas it pertains both Predictive and Prescriptive analysis and ensure alignmentwith industry best practices

Basic Requirements

?        4 years of experience using data to solve problems,answer questions, and create visualizations

?        4 years of experience in data quality analysis anddata architecture

?        4 years of professional development experience

?        4 years of experience in Big Data technologies inHadoop/Hive/Spark platform using Python/Scala

?        Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, OperationsResearch, Economics, Physics, Computer Science or other STEM fields preferredbut will take Bachelor’s Degree.
