 The program is responsible for all licensing and renewal activities of more than 55 professional titles as well as licensing and renewal for professional corporations and pharmacy establishments. The services provided include the full range of accepting, reviewing, and approving license applications, post-licensure services, professional guidance and oversight, and the investigation of incidents of professional misconduct. 

 

At the direction of the Program Manager and Project Team Leader, the Quality Assurance Analysts will primarily be responsible for ensuring the quality of the development team, and adherence to the business requirements through testing and validated the end solution in an Agile development environment. 

 

Job Duties:  

 

The consultant will be responsible for the creation and implementation of quality assurance testing plans that include strategies and targets for user acceptance testing (UAT), automated quality testing of web configuration, usability, content migration, and various related Java and Drupal website development efforts.  As automated test scripts are created, OP Project staff will be trained in execution of automated tests and how to interpret results. Documentation will also be created and provided to the OP Project staff. The consultant will be expected to manage multiple projects daily. 

Day-to-Day Activities include: 

  • Conduct Quality Assurance testing on development items delivered by website development teams 
  • Participate in Scrum daily standups, sprint planning sessions, and identify approaches to testing for sprint user stories 
  • Review current systems and perform analysis against future state websites to create Quality Assurance Testing Plans that include recommendations for Manual v. Automated testing as well as UAT 
  • Create and conduct automated test scripts for the smoke and regression test suites utilizing Selenium WebDriver and Java programming language for the mission-critical and frequently used functionalities of the Website and accompanying online services  
  • Create and execute detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for regression testing 
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities as part of the scrum team(s) 
  • Support the development and maintenance user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams.   
  • Assist with validation of data mapping between the legacy site new systems 
  • Document, report, track, assign, and escalate defects appropriately in Jira and Confluence 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • 48 Months of experience in validating web applications using Selenium WebDriver API 
  • 48 Months of experience developing Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases related to regression testing 
  • 48 Months of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) testing of user interface (UI) and back-end websites 
  • 36 Months of experience coding, updating modules, and conducting testing activities in/for Drupal Application Development 
  • 36 Months of experience coding in Java and conducting testing activities in a Java development environment 
  • 36 Months of experience in Writing Technical Documentation for Application Development and/or Support 
  • Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence 
  • Bachelor's in IT and/or Business-related degree AND 5+ years of relevant experience.
