 On behalf of one of our large Oil & Gas clients, Procom Services is looking for a SQL Developer for an 8 month plus project with extensions likely to work in Gas Pipeline Measurement Applications IT team for projects and support in Houston, TX.
Candidate must have 5 years of experience developing solutions using SQL database.. This is an onsite role at the client location in the Galleria.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, source code management, and unit testing.
• Proficient in SQL database and relational database technological concepts to develop high quality database solutions.
• Hands-on T-SQL skills and prior work experience are needed to develop and maintain DDL, Views, Triggers, Stored Procs and other SQL objects.
• Writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Ability to develop Windows batch programs and scripts in one or more scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript
• Good communication and effective team-working skills.

Desired Additional Skills and Experience:
• Integration with business intelligence and reporting tools like Power BI and SSRS.
• Prior experience working with Gas Pipeline systems and applications.
