Responsibilities
- You can expect to write code for the browser, the database and everywhere in-between that best suits your individual talents and aspirations
- You will be writing code targeting the latest versions of our technology stack and encouraged to think creatively in order to fully utilize these tools.
- You will help lead regular design sessions, code reviews and agile ceremonies.
- You will work closely with the Product Owner and scrum team to help deliver high quality features inside of agreed timescales
- You will provide technical mentorship and upskilling to scrum team members and across functional boundaries where appropriate
- You will Identify areas for modification inside our code-base and champion their improvement
- You will lead by example, contributing to a culture of high quality, personal ownership and customer focused execution
Primary Skills
- 8+ years of experience in the design and development of web, desktop-based enterprise applications using Microsoft tech stack
- Comprehensive understanding of .NET 4.0/4.5 framework, C#, ASP.NET, HTML, jQuery, CSS, JavaScript, WCF, LINQ, and Entity Framework.
- Experience creating custom reports using ASP.NET Charting/SSRS reporting or similar
- Familiarity with Open Source libraries like Unity IoC, Automapper, Enterprise Library
- Exposure to the relational database
- Be able to setup and automate CI/CD pipeline, automate unit tests
Secondary Skills
- Exposure to Azure Cloud development and deployment
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies with tools
- Knowledge on modern web development frameworks and libraries
