JOB DETAIL

 

Job Responsibilities

 Facilitate requirements gathering with users (internal, external) to define and develop new business applications and updates to existing applications to ensure that information systems support business needs. Elicit and document requirements and process flow for use by development team.

Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities and write specifications as needed.

Assist with coordinating project activities related to development and implementation efforts, including monitoring task completion by project team members, coordinating meetings, reporting project status, and identifying key milestones required for project delivery.

Works with project teams to define and create business cases, project charters, test cases and other project documentation as needed.

Assist with creating and updating business application training documentation, including user guides, system FAQs, cheat sheets, etc. to reflect current system features and functionality.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports and provide data to applicable colleagues/user groups. Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.

Suggest changes to management using analytics and data to support recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

 

Skill Requirements

Proven experience leading requirement gathering and discovery with users and stakeholders

Familiarity with business information analysis using spreadsheets, databases, and other financial reporting software

Familiarity with agile software development best practices and processes.

Outstanding planning and organizational skills; ability to meet tight deadlines

Strong analytical thinking and quantitative analysis

Proficient technical writing skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize

Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Proficient with Project Management software applications such as MS Project, SmartSheet, etc.

Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops platform a plus

 

Education Requirements:

Associates degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent required

 

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of three years of previous business analysis / Project Management and/or related information technology experience

3+ years of experience with ERP/CRM global implementations is preferred (D365 CRM)

Experience working on multi-phase global implementations is preferred

Experience in OTC, PTP, RTR Value stream processes are preferred

 

Certifications & Licenses:

PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PBA) or IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) preferred for BA

PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred for PM
