• Strong experience in SQL Server Upgrades - entire process of upgrades including code changes
• Experience in analyzing and acting on DMA report recommendations
Roles & Responsibilities:-
• SSIS package development, migration, and deployment - Strong experience in Project deployment model in SSIS, Source to destination data copies; transformation tasks, data flow control flow sequence containers
• SQL code development including code tuning, replication and working with Always On Cluster
• Stored Procedure development and modification as required in migration process
• Work closely with development and application teams to enable upgrades of the application
• Responsibility for constructing and/or optimizing physical database designs tailored for the SQL SERVER database environment in support of various strategic application development initiatives (database/table/object/index/view/trigger/package/procedure etc).
• Design & development Services - Physical database design and creation, partitioning, capacity planning, DDL creation update etc., view design and creation, stored procedure, trigger and query coding and tuning
• Data Services - Data replication, reporting, adhoc query support, data correction, CDC/IIDR change tracking
• Performance and Tuning Services - Performance Profile baseline, database tuning, index reviews, query tuning.
Additional Skills:-
• Certified in SQL Server Database Administration/ Programming.
