JOB DETAIL

Position Overview – CE2 Business-IT Architect

• As a key contributor on MVW IT Enterprise Architecture team, to dialog with Business to advise and engage in understanding desired business outcomes and defining success criteria

• Articulate the value of recommended solutions and approach as a catalyst for their future success

• Guide the Business through planning, design and implementation of the CE2 (Salesforce Customer 360) solution and demonstrate how it meets their needs

• Lead the discovery and requirements refinement sessions to uncover business, functional, and technological requirements

• Synthesize requirements to create clear and comprehensive user stories and solution design documentation

• Perform fit-gap analysis between Salesforce functionality and Business’ requirements

• Design elegant, innovative Salesforce solutions involving: configuration of CE2 packages, creation and refinement of complex data models, external integration, business process automation, and other custom functionality

• Draft custom development specifications and manage the delivery and testing of the functionality by the Build team

• Iterate on solutions through a build/ test/ review cycle with Business’ Product Owner

• Develop training curriculum and deliver training sessions to Business’ end users A successful CE2 Business-IT Architect should possess these skills:

• 3-5 years experience administering or consulting with Salesforce

• Experience with business process definition, best practices, and reengineering

• Experience designing or building Salesforce integrations with 3rd party applications

• Understanding of key concepts of user centered design and design thinking

• Modeling and graphical representations and abstractions

• Experience writing user stories to capture Salesforce requirements

• Experience with data migrations from third party systems to Salesforce

• Marketing (“selling” the results of architectural approaches through presentations)

• Management (e.g.: prioritization, trade-off analysis, psychology, etc.)

• Communications, both verbal (e.g.: presentations, seminars, etc.), and written (e.g.: reports, articles, etc.)

• Team leadership, collaboration, group session facilitation.
