2 Required Technical Skill Set  Hands-on technical experience delivering Mainframe
solutions using technologies including Cobol, DB2, IMS, CICS,
JCL Batch and FocusTools - Changeman, IBM debug tool,
Fault Analyzer, IBM DB2 Query Monitor.
 Extensive experience in analysis and design
 Excellent programming and debugging skills
 Good working knowledge of Relational Databases
 Nice to have understanding of CICS Web Services and DB2
Stored
 Procedures.
 Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
 Excellent collaboration/teamwork skills
 Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within
Technology,
 Business and Operations
 Capability to approach problems as challenges and deal with

Responsibility

 Design, develop and maintain Mainframe COBOL & JCL to meet support and/or
project requirements.
 Develop and execute Unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that
application changes meet technical specifications.
 Provide Solution Delivery Methodology artifacts(Application design, Component
design etc etc) associated with application components.
 Responsible for full System Development Life Cycle
 Work with IT support teams to ensure support and project requirements are
developed and successfully implemented.
 Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and
translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and
application code.
 Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of development.
