Job Description Responsible for building applications. This includes anything between complex groups of back-end services and their client-end (desktop and mobile) counterparts. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance new and existing C# .NET & C++ front office applications and services with a strong focus on Structured Notes
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization and atomization.
Skills
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- Skill for writing reusable libraries
- Working on multiple and simultaneous intranet and public-facing web applications built in .NET of varying degrees of complexity and priorities, which includes C#, VB.Net, ASP.NET Core/MVC/Web API/WCF/Web Services
- Angular, MVC5+, ADO.net, Web Services/Web APIs, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Microsoft SQL 2012/2016, Power BI, SharePoint Online, Entity frameworks
- Experience in service-oriented architecture and frameworks (NServiceBus), messaging (MSMQ)
- Experience developing and consuming REST based services (SOAP, RESTful services, OData).
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Good exposure to build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT
