IT Recruiter Responsibilities
• Manage full cycle recruiting processes ensuring a positive candidate experience through the interview (attract, select, interview, negotiate and extend offer)
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
• Screen candidates resumes and job applications
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
- Collaborating with team members to understand positions and recruiting needs
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
- Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
• Develop an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate
- Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques and best practices in HR
- Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email tracking recruiting activities and providing weekly activity reporting. Requirements
- Knowledge regarding recruitment and selection methods and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
- Demonstrated initiative and creative problem-solving skills
- Background or current experience in recruiting for Information Technology is a plus
