About Business Group:

Applied Materials SW Group leads the software development of Advanced process control software product which is integrated in a wide range of products catering Semiconductor and adjacent industries worldwide.

The group is looking for individual contributor who can be part of the team that develops the enterprise class software product. The team develops efficient, industry leading software product and solutions addressing critical business needs for semiconductor manufacturing. Team works closely with other product groups in various verticals during the process. The role includes active code development and working closely with various interfaces both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

Develops code for moderately difficult software projects. Design and implement bug fixes.

Designs moderately difficult software projects.

Develops software documentation.

Troubleshoots a variety of moderately difficult software problems. Performs software tests on code and enhancements. Defines software specifications.

Interfaces with external customers regarding software issues

Interfaces with internal customers for requirements analysis and schedule.

Compiles data for regularly scheduled or special reports, analysis and statements.

• Experience level 3 - 7 years.
• Strong development skills in C#.net.
• Knowledge in WCF and multithreading
• Knowledge in Python 3.x, Angular, Big data Database is a plus as we expect the developer is adaptive enough to work on these technologies
• Production debugging using WinDBG, DebugDiag is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently.
• Shows agility and flexibility in taking assignments.
