DevOps Engineer responsible for managing Operations. The position is highly technical and balanced between engineering, operations, and management roles. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can act independently, lead other team members, and represent operations core values across the organization.
What You'll Do
- You'll help drive, implement, support, and maintain infrastructure services used by 8x8 This will become the primary core component and infrastructure for 8x8 services: Jenkins, declarative pipeline, github, use ansible playbook and roles, linux and devops automation
- Drive and support migration of services to production K8S environments
- Develop and support consistent deployment/management practices across public and private Cloud
- Help in the automation of CI and deployments in a consistent and reliable way
- You'll develop monitors and build alerts around error conditions and performance
- Work closely with application teams in ensuring best practices are followed and the infrastructure automation can be self-service
Expertise You'll Bring
- Complex and huge Production Support Experience
- Team management Skills and lead tech guys
- Skills on Linux, Devops, Cloud, Automation, Monitoring, SRE etc
- Work on 24*7 Environment is must
- Application Support background and must learn and support Application (Various product / inhouse application)
- Motivated self-starter with a high capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience: 10+ Yrs
