Job Description:

·         Ability to solve any ongoing issues with operating the Big Data clusters

·         Cloudera (CDH5,  CDP 7 is nice to have) administration capabilities (Hive, Impala, Ranger)

·         Good knowledge Linux (OS, networking, integration with legacy systems)

·         Proficiency with bash and python scripting

·         Proficiency with git based versioning tools (github, gitlab)

·         Good understanding of SQL, Databases and modern distributed infrastructure

[Nice to have]

·         Administrator Certified on Cloudera platform

·         Solution Architect certification at least on one of the major Public Cloud providers

[Soft skills]

·         Well organized and able to coordinate 2 or more resources

·         Used to working to tight deadlines

·         Able to prioritize tasks
