Managerial Responsibilities

Responsible for offshore and onsite project teams’ project delivery performance. Works closely with clients to manage projects implementation and delivery.

Description

CSS Corp is hiring an onsite Project Manager to work with one of its esteemed clients in Networks in NJ. 

  • Onsite Project Manager will coordinate between offshore resources and the client for flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible and accountable for project planning, monitoring and delivery in time.
  • Understand business and technical aspect of the project.
  • Liaise with onsite engagement and client in delivering various projects to align with business objectives and technology roadmap
  • Liaise with other PM's, Business Users, Consultants and Development teams to identify release scope and assess impact
  • Ensure project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and work closely with Technical teams for feasibility
  • Ensure overall project deliveries are as per scope, time and within budget
  • Work closely with account management teams on committed projects and forthcoming opportunities
  • Estimate and obtain client approval for time, resources and budget required to execute the projects
  • Organize project kick-off meeting bringing in onsite and offshore teams
  • Define overall project management processes and SOPs
  • Develop a detailed project plan to record the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan
  • Coordinate for offshore teams of any Hardware and software requirement for the project
  • Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for project managers as per standards agreed with client organization.
  • Keep track of the new requirements / change in requirements of the Project.
  • Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) to the Client
  • Attend regular client call and discuss the weekly status with the client
  • Prepare reports for monthly/quarterly business reviews with the client
  • Act as the single point of contact between client, account management and delivery teams
  • Track and prepare the report of SQA activities like testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.
  • Prepares / review the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of project.,
  • Monitors software releases from initiation through to delivery.
  • Responsible for utilizing technical resources to the best.
  • Work with client release management team.
  • Assess project risks, issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity quality and delivery goals
  • Deliver and maintain internal "Best Practice" for software release and project management processes
  • Mentoring and training of offshore leads
