Implement a data catalog of enterprise data assets and characteristics
Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations, data quality and security policies.
Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality, by outlining the data governing standards and principles and scoping the types of data management frameworks to be used
Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
Develop architectural strategies for data modeling, design and implementation to meet stated requirements for metadata management, operational data stores and Extract Transform Load environments
Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
Review existing data architectures to determine overall effectiveness and compliance with original objectives, develop comprehensive strategies for improving or replacing underperforming areas and present these plans to managers and executives
Monitor and improve the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
Research new technologies, data modeling methods and information management systems to determine which ones should be incorporated into company data architectures, and develop implementation timelines and milestones
Educate staff members through training and individual support.
Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role
Experience working on AWS cloud is a must and experience on Azure cloud is added advantage
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
