Business Analyst (or) BA performs business requirements analysis for software applications and interacts with business users and Global IT team for finding solutions.
BA is responsible for documenting business requirements into functional specifications; configure the standard functionality of ERP system, works with developers for solution modeling and development; and performs testing of business process scenarios.
BA understands and learns company core models; keeps the documentation up to date as any changes happen and tarin the users as needed.
BA complies all established IT standards and procedures.
BA provides training to Key users and communicates complex technology and applications clearly to non-technical business users
BA analyzes and supports user on software issues and guides on data related issues, evaluate alternatives and discusses with colleagues in IT team to devise cost-effective, user-friendly solutions in respective ERP subject area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains positive interpersonal relations with business users IT colleagues to ensure the user satisfaction, quality deliverables.
Collaborates with business users, IT colleagues, developers, and support staff to ensure that functional and technical solutions meets the business needs.
Ensures timely completion of agreed objectives, while striving to exceed stakeholder expectations.
Works with little direction from the Project Managers or Line Managers and ensures that tasks responsible progress to completion.
Lead projects and take responsibility for delivery where asked for, provides status updates to IT management, escalates issues in timely manner and gathers to provide information supporting the metric reporting requirements of the organization.
ACADEMICS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s in Computer science or in Business
5 to 10 years of ERP LN functional experience in Manufacturing and/or Logistics functional areas of ERP LN and 3 to 4 End-to-End Implementation cycles experience.
Root cause analysis of Infor LN related issues and communicate with Infor company for Fixes and Solutions
Effective interpersonal skills and proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
Willingness to travel for IT projects, both US and international
