Our client, a large financial services company are seeking Software Engineers who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies. As a Software Engineer, you will be a part of an organization that ignites the delivery of common capabilities and services from the core to be leveraged by our internal business customers across the bank (Card, Retail, Auto Loan). We are on a mission to fuel financial core modernization and abstraction by decoupling business applications from legacy core systems to ensure a resilient and performant ecosystem.

What You’ll Do:

·         Work with a team of developers with experience in distributed microservices and back-end systems to create solutions that help meet regulatory needs for the company

·         Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in back-end development tools and technologies

·         Utilize programming languages like Go, Java, Python, and SQL and work with Cassandra, Docker, Spark, and a variety of AWS tools and services

         Collaborate with digital product managers and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment

         Perform unit tests and conduct reviews with other team members to make sure your code is rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for performance

         Description Details:

This team has a need to develop new architectural designs and influence the technical strategy of how our platform analyzes, validates, and reports on the quality of our data, we're prioritizing candidates who have demonstrated an ability to take business requirements (often vague and changing), develop architectural designs by collaborating with various stakeholders (product, tech, and architecture teams), and implement production-ready solutions based on our existing tech stack.

Basic Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

·         At least 4 years of professional experience in software/data engineering

·         At least 4 years of experience in at least one of the following: Golang, Java, Python, or Scala

·         At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)

·         At least 1 year of experience in big data technologies (Cassandra, Spark, Hadoop, AVRO, MongoDB, etc.)

·         At least 1 year of experience with Agile engineering practices
