Cypress automation is preferred as in past the contractors with selenium experience claimed to work on Cypress and failed to be productive, both of these candidates have Selenium and HP exposures.

·         API testing on postman/Swagger is manual testing, we need someone who are experienced in creating scripts in automation tools. I don’t see much of the work done by either at least on their resume

·         We need someone with JavaScript’s it’s a must.

·         Azure DevOps experience along with CICD pipelines experience is something which is also we want to see in the candidate.

We need someone with 4-5 years’ experience and ready to do the code work rather than just advise on best practices.

• Work with teams which include developers, analysts, and business owners, to deliver high-quality software releases
• Collaborate closely with development and business owners to understand problems and test in an appropriate way
• Create test plans that go beyond the normal scope which lead to high-quality releases
• Pairing with other QA staff to make improvements to current automated tests and deployment cycle (Must have)
• Make recommendations to improve quality assurance methods

·         Needs strong communication skills and the ability to work with Developers as well as QA

·         In depth QA knowledge, SDET mindset Strong leadership skills (Must have)

·         Proficiency with React, JavaScript, C#, .NET and applying object-oriented principles Proficiency with implementing unit, integration, Cypress, Selenium or similar (Must have)

·         Proficiency with API Testing (Must have)

·         Proficiency with development tools such as VS Code, Git, Azure DevOps (Must have)

·         Experienced integrating automation test code into CI/CD pipeline processes (Must have)

·         Experience developing software using agile methodologies, QA, and DevOps best practices

·         Ability to effectively participate in peer code reviews and pull requests, both as the reviewer and the reviewee

·         Self-motivated and goal oriented with attention to detail

Experience testing software, automation for front end software applications, and backend API testing (Must have)
