JOB DETAIL

Life Sciences experience is mandatory - The life sciences industry comprises companies operating in the research, development and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology-based food and medicines, medical devices, biomedical technologies, nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals, food processing, and other products that improve the lives of organisms. Healthcare is NOT Life Sciences.

 

Business Intelligence is primarily responsible for managing analytical and business intelligence reporting for the commercial operations in life sciences organization. Primary duties will include delivering and improving our digital marketing and home office reporting. Duties also include identifying areas of improvement and assisting with the development of new processes and analytics related to project delivery, quality measures, and associated reporting needs of clients and internal teams.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience in Life Sciences industry
  • Commercial pharma knowledge and digital campaign
  • Hands on experience in digital marketing data and reporting requirements
  • Knowledge in Data AnalyticsETL, Report development, Production support, Development, etc.
  • Experience in building reports using reporting tools like MicroStrategy, ThoughtSpot etc.
  • Good communication skills and ability to deal with business directly.
  • Familiar with performance optimization and performance tuning technics with focusing on MS BI technologies stack
  • Strong understanding of data warehouses and data analysis techniques.

 
Responsibilities:

  • Manage development team and vendors              
  • Maintain Operational Requests & Enhancements
  • Oversee architecture of BI databases
  • Analyze/rebuild existing reports/processes for the long term
  • Analyze metrics and trends and make recommendations for process or systems improvements
  • Create ad hoc reports as needed
  • Support the operations improvement initiatives as needed
  • Coordinates with system users to determine final objectives, desired reports, historical data to be preserved, data sources, etc.
  • Work frequently includes program development, maintenance error detection & correction of existing codes and/or revisions to systems documentation
  • Develop and support Internal and External Requirements & Enhancements
