JOB DETAIL

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent, with 10-12 years of overall experience.
  • Collaborate with the product team to Understand the current and future business requirements, objectives, process and workflow
  • Support critical business logic across a suite of robust services and scalable data processing jobs.
  • Redesign and re-develop the core system proactively to improve maintainability, operation and performance
  • Analyse, test, troubleshoot, and review PAS platform performance, coding, and other issues.
  • Coding of .Net programs, develop SQL procedures and write complex SQL queries
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and remediate code and data related issues
  • Work independently on assignments, track work items and provide recommendations or decisions needed
  • Participate in daily huddle and discuss work items and share status for the work items assigned
  • Tracking of root causes, provide resolutions and resolve dependencies with business/other IT stakeholders
  • Proactive suggestions to improve the overall platform, API integration and other components
  • Strong communication skills, adaptability and a collaborative mindset
  • 6+ years of experience with Visual Studio, Dot Net (v3.5 and above) , C#, , ASMX, WCF, Windows and Webforms, MS SQL Server
  • Good understanding of the Object Oriented programming
  • Prior experience in support and maintenance of scalable enterprise software solutions
  • Very strong proficiency with relational databases, including modeling and performance optimization (SQL Server)
  • Proven research, analytical problem solving and debugging skills
  • Detail oriented with a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Team player with an emphasis on both knowledge sharing and learning
  • Work with APIs
  • Comfortable working with engineers that are remote as well as from the local office
  • P&C Domain knowledge preferably in Policy Admin area but not mandatory
