Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of a comprehensive data strategy and roadmap, including recommendations for data architecture, data storage, data integration, data quality, and data models
- Design, publish and maintain Power BI data models based on measurements and dimensions based on internal & external customer needs
- Own the BI roadmap and continue developing it to align with the goals & priorities of NationsBenefits
- Provide daily support to the end-users of BI solutions in efficiently & effectively using the platform
- Design and build data models to clean and transform datasets for reporting & data science needs
- Manage the creation, maintenance, and processing data ingest and export
- Build solutions that are automated, scalable, and sustainable while minimizing defects and technical debt
- Invest in documentation, including all system design, architecture and ongoing changes Design and support production job schedules, including alerting, monitoring, break fixes, and performance tuning
Experience Requirements
- Hands-on experience with development of data-centric solutions and architecture, including a blend of Data Visualization, Data Integration, Master Data Management and/or Data Catalogs
- Well-seasoned in data modeling, data intake, and data-curation procedures
- In-depth practical experience and demonstrated comprehensive knowledge in designing and implementing modern cloud architectures based on continuous delivery
- Ability to develop a comprehensive approach to BI solutions, as well as the ability to communicate complex issues to internal and external non-professionals in an easily understandable way
Required Skills & Education
- Bachelor's Degree in a business or quantitative field required, advanced degree preferred
- Expert level skills in SQL, Python & at least one BI tool
- 5 years' experience setting up data pipeline in Azure or AWS
- 5 years' experience building automated system monitoring & alerts
- 3 years' experience creating enterprise-wide BI reporting solutions
- Target driven, high degree of intercultural competence, team player with highest commitment
- Comfort in prioritizing workload demands in a fluid, fast passed environment
