The Data Analyst will support the data management function as part of the Global Data, Insights and Analytics (GDIA) skill team. In this role the analyst with work with engineers and product owners on the Data Quality team visualize and communicate data quality trends within company’s Data Factory.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Organize and catalog metrics and data quality related metadata generated by the team
- Design and build user-friendly dashboards to visualize key data quality dimensions - Completeness - Timeliness - Accuracy - Validity - Consistency - Uniqueness
- Identify important trends and create processes to alert important stakeholders when needed
- Work with the GDIA Command Center to summarize vital data quality information for leadership Consult with analytics and other partner teams on data quality matters including but not limited to: - Code Page Conversion - Corrupted Characters - Column Jumping - Data Loss
Additional Responsibilities:
- Identify, quantify, and troubleshoot data quality issues with customers
- Work with data engineers and DBAs
Skills Required:
- Expert level user of at least one of the following data visualization tools: - QlikSense - Grafana - Angular
- Ability to rapidly understand the current business technology landscape in order to hold credible discussions with the stakeholders
Skills Preferred:
· Proficient with SQL (or similar query language)
Experience Required:
· 7 years of experience in data/analytics position
Experience Preferred:
· Experience with Google Cloud Platform
· Consulting experience helpful
