Our directclient is searching for an Infrastructure Architect / Cloud Engineer to joinour high performance team. The successful candidate will have strong skills insystems administration, maintenance, monitoring, and production support andsoftware deployment.

ThingsYou'll Do:

==========

●         Prior deep experience operating workloads in Production environments using AWSservices (EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, Route53, Fargate, DynamodDB, DocumentDB,RDS, EBS etc.)

●         Drive and deliver next-gen architecture using AWS managed services andcross-regional resilience.

●         Standout as a go-to person for Cloud enablement and roadmap

●         Build and manage multiple software development and production infrastructureenvironments (AWS and On-premise).

●         Maintain tools, processes and associated documentation and manage API Gatewaysand underlying Infrastructure.

●         Build, deploy and manage software development tools/environments as required bythe development team (Rally, Jira, Git and others)

●         Measure utilization of production resources and available capacity. Pastexperience in capacity modeling is highly desired.

●         Experience in reviewing machine data using Splunk or other Log Analytics toolsto gain further operational insight to improve overall systems performance

●         Troubleshoot software and infrastructure problems and act as developmentescalation point for production issues

●         Work with hosting engineering to ensure production systems achieve highestreliability, availability and performance

●         Deploy software in all environments; work with Production Deployment team toensure successful deployments

●         Experience in cost-optimization and Cloud spend management.

●         Ability to operate as a self-driven leader and evangelist for robust, resilientarchitectures.

 

Qualifications

=========

●         10 years of IT experience with 5 years hands on experience working on AWS

●         Strong understanding of API Traffic Management, Rate-Limiting, Concurrency andLoad Management

●         Prior experience with Containerization is a must have.

●         Strong understanding of Unix/Linux fundamentals.

●         Strong understanding of Patching/Roll-back of systems.

●         Prior experience with HA architectures.

●         Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth2 authorization framework and APIGateways

●         Strong Apache administration skills

●         Knowledge of API Gateway (Layer7 preferred), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SMTP,SSL.

●         Hands-on experience and administration of MongoDB, Redis, MySQL.

●         Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, Nagios etc.).

●         Hands-on Experience with at-least one programming language (Python, Perl, Ruby,Go etc.)

●         Working knowledge of one or more Linux Distributions (SUSE, Ubuntu etc.).

●         Working knowledge of one or more Configuration Management tools (Ansible, Puppet,Chef)

●         Familiarity with Computer Networking

●         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
