JOB DETAIL
Primary Skills: SAS Eminer, SPSS Modeller, R or Python, Data science Libraries, Data manipulation, modelling process (design, develop, test, implement, measure)
Deep knowledge of all phases of a Data Science project including Data gathering, Data Profiling, Explanatory Data Analytics, Modelling output interpretation for Business Consumption
Advanced knowledge of predictive, prescriptive modelling and Forecasting
Deep Knowledge of basic algorithms such as regression, ANOVA, ARIMA etc.
Extensive experience in doing medium data set EBA segmentation, clustering etc.
Knowledge of upcoming AI tools techniques preferable
Experience in operationalizing / production roll out of SAS models or SPSS Models and Python models
Knowledge of continuous model improvement, maintaining models as business needs change
Executes the modelling process (requirements, design, delivery and measurement (accuracy rate and ROI) of predicted models, forecasts
Good Knowledge of Data Mining use cases - Which includes voluntary churn, likelihood of payment, response to an outbound campaign, fraudulent behavior Segmentation Models -Identifying target segments, store/ market segments Forecasts - Predicting defects, gross adds, customer base, calls to care, device sales and bad debt expense
5+ years of relevant experience in analytical techniques and data manipulation tools.
Job Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, statistical principles and methodologies, and techniques.
Solid understanding of business to improve business outcomes.
Experience with statistics, modeling and machine learning techniques is a plus.
Candidates with valid US B1 visa preferred, not mandatory
Strong organization and time management skills - prior experience in leading a small team is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Ability to work effectively in a high energy and a very rapidly dynamic environment.
