 Review and evaluate custom home-grown applications
 Work closely with enterprise architect, cloud architect to define the future state of applications on AWS
cloud
 Accountable for future state applications architecture on AWS cloud
 Establish and enforce application architecture and deployment quality standards
 Provide technical leadership, guidance, and assistance to the teams in the implementation of established
architectures and designs
 Mentor and coach developers to ensure that architecture best practices are followed
Required Skills / Qualifications
 12+ years of application design, implementation, and/or consulting experience
 Hands on experience with .NET, java, python, Oracle, SQL Server & scripting languages and good
understanding of AWS Well-Architected framework
 In-depth understanding of 3 tier architecture, microservices, cloud native development, containerization
& orchestration
 Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud
 2+ large scale migration projects, on-prem to AWS cloud migration
 Strong skills in AWS services across compute, storage & serverless (EC2, EBS, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, RDS
etc.)
 Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT
management, technical conferences, and development teams
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Ability to connect with multiple internal and client stakeholders
 Ability to mentor colleagues on the latest cloud concepts and architectures.
 Demonstrated ability to continuously adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
 Certifications: Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
