- 10+ years industry/consulting hand on work in SAP
- Need for a S/4 Project Manager to help manage data activities across the deployments.
- Full life cycle project implementation and configuration experience with Good understanding of SAP PP, PPDS, EWM, SD, MM and PM modules.
- Domain experience preferred in manufacturing sector
- Hands on experience in Logistic area (PP/PPDS, MM, SD, PM)
- Good experience in SAP PP/EWM and integration with other SAP Modules including PP, MM, SD
- A solid background of manufacturing environment especially in paper/ plastic industry. Ability to understand and design reporting, performance evaluation and forecast analysis
- Good understanding of security compliance (data access, ownership tracking)
- Responding to user requirements, problem resolution, develop designs, and process modeling
- Functional specifications and working with ABAP developers to complete object development and testing
- Strong scoping/estimation, problem solving, troubleshooting and technical experience with the ability to root cause application issues.
- Should play a key customer facing role and connect with offshore team.
- The successful applicant will be a Project Manager, with a strong vertical in managing SAP projects
- Must have extensive experience of working for large IT services/IT outsourcing companies, with strong client facing experience.
- The role will be focused on customer supplier relationship - overseeing system changes. Project managing the agreed integration and legacy system change criteria and requirements based on systems identified and timelines. Working with Functional teams, legacy/existing system owners and their technical architects to ensure timelines for delivery of solutions are understood and any issues /risk documented and actioned/escalated
Project managing and supporting the existing business systems owners in liaising with third party Vendors. Ensure that approval gateways are defined and met in the delivery plan for any change. Act as liaison between the test team and existing business system owners to ensure that the test team has sufficient detail to prepare appropriate test scenarios for any change
- An in-depth understanding of ERP SAP business solutions as a Project Manager
- Experience of overseeing at least one Project Manager from a third party
- Excellent client facing experience and relationship management experience
- S4/Hana experience is desirable
Establish and maintain a project plan in conjunction with the existing business system owners to track and monitor delivery progress for agreed changes. Agree reporting profile with existing business teams to include resource profile, costs and milestone achievement status. Provide reports on status and progress as required.
Good-to-Have:
- Customer facing role and should be able to engage and provide solution for business scenarios through various phases of implementation : Blueprinting, Configuration, Functional Specification Design and Documentation, Testing including unit, development, integration and user acceptance , Cutover/ Data Conversions, Post Go-Live Support
- Connect with customer and offshore team and bridge the gap. Single point of contact for Customer and for offshore team.
- Drive and own end to end solution (Requirement to implementation)
- Should have consulting competencies like leadership, customer focus, strong written and verbal communications, results oriented.
