Must Haves:

- 10+ years of Oracle Database experience

- 5+ years with goldengate performance tuning on Oracle and Aurora databases

- 5+ years of experience with goldengate and goldengate with big data adapter and setting up goldgnate hub in EC2

- 5+ years of Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) experience

- 4+ years of experience working with Oracle database on AWS EC2 and physical standby

- 4+ years of experience working RDS on Aurora postgres

Plusses:

- Experience with support Oracle Exadata and ZFS

- Experience working with AWS technologies

Day-to-Day:

An employer is looking for a Sr. Oracle DBA to join the Database Engineering team to sit fully-remote (prefer Southern California)!

This will be a part of the Enterprise Database Services (EDS) which is a Shared Service group,The Sr. DBA’s typical day will

consist of 40% hands-on goldengate replication setup and goldengate replication tuning, 40% working with Oracle internals and 20% working on AWS migrations to

Aurora RDS. This person will work closely with fellow Sr. DBA's and Architects, but will be expected to come into the role and hit the ground running.
