- Experience in root cause analysis and problem solving in complex application.
- Moderate knowledge of Oracle DBMS concepts.
- Ability to write and debug complex SQLs.
- Expert level skills in PL/SQL programming.
- Experience in data warehousing and ETL is a plus.
- Experience using SQLLDR, FTP Secure and Perl will be helpful.
- Performance tuning skills will be a definite plus.
- Adequate skills in Linux shell scripting.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Working knowledge of Java and/or XML will be useful.
