Team Size: Advanced App: 4 salesforce engineers, product owner/team lead, 3 QA resources (this is the team they would join). Then there is a standard App team that is focused mainly in Columbia and has 2 salesforce developers taking care of API work, 2 product owners, and QA. Security team sits in India.

Project:

2000+ customers running this application

 Application broken up into 2 areas

Advanced: full function for large hotel chains around the globe

8 years old, extremely large code base, one of the largest packages on Salesforce

Integrations with Cvent, Oracle, more (very challenging enterprise-wide application, tons of visibility)

Business Layer: Data layer that advanced uses, called standard service, Angular front-end on it

 Looking at how they can take logic off the platform

If someone knows .NET, helpful to see what they can move off of here

Evaluating Lightning--should be lightning ready down the road (not adopting 100% across the application)

Job Description

Responsibilities

Complex Apex coding

Secure, scalable Apex code for enterprise level applications

Non-declarative/point and click work

Coding as much as necessary

API experience not necessary, handled by another team (Angular front-end layer is tied into Apex code via APIs)

Lightning not required--not there yet

Work on the SAFe methodology/mindset

Leverage TFS for board, GIT for repository-        

Must-Have Skills/Background

 Complex Apex/custom coding

 5+ years of experience in Salesforce

 Agile familiarity

Collaboration/communication skills
