What you’ll do:
- Ability to work with both the application SMEs and Business Stakeholders for eliciting requirements using various methods and to ensure a full understanding of business processes and rules that need to be applied
- Work with Product Owner to define project goals and ensure timely delivery of milestone items
- Implement strategic and technical solutions for problems reported by business and operations team by identifying the root cause
- Help define features and story level requirements for larger projects/client implementation
- Create and define user stories, with an emphasis on acceptance criteria, breaking down epics and features into smaller business deliverables
- Understand and document functional, technical, and non-functional acceptance criteria
- Assist Product Owner in keeping Product Backlog prioritized
- Present stories for backlog refinement and work through developer questions for understanding
- Document requirements using JIRA and Confluence
- Create process diagrams, flow diagrams and/or work with our Design team on UI mock-ups for application functional requirements
- Help with production issues root cause analysis and resolution
- Work with Scrum Master and development team to coordinate planning of Agile/Scrum sprints for SDLC deliverables
- Provide UAT sign off during each sprint cycle
- Actively communicate all roadblocks and/or receive sign off for sprint deliverable from respective stakeholders
- Document release notes
- Help identify process gaps and define enriched processes for better SDLC and IT solutions
What you bring to the table:
- BA/BS degree
- Direct experience working in an agile framework
- Direct experience taking epics/features and breaking them into detailed user stories
- Ability to write clear and concise detailed acceptance criteria and/or given-when-then scenarios
- Financial services experience preferred
- Experience with SQL preferred
