Job Description

BorgWarner is beginning a Data Transformation for all customers/dashboards used across the organization. There are several small/large customers and Borg is currently set up a a decentralized fashion. They are working with Snowflake on having one central unit for a data source. The data analyst must be able to create data modeling from the information they have at hand. Things like reading, translating what is stored in SAP and then creating reports with the information and passing it off to the business unit. Understanding the SAP Structure, separating profitability by customer, and maintaining proper security standards while creating the report will be important.

Given the existing dashboard requirement, the consultant must be able to read the data and make the report.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Snowflake/Power BI are not required, but would be viewed as a nice to have. This person is now responsible for building out the dashboards, but will pass all of the business requirements off to this team to assist.

BorgWarner is transitioning to be more of an electronic vehicle supplier by 2030. New initiative "Charging Forward" being driven by this group. This consultant would have the ability to be exposed to everything related back to the centralization of data/transformation.

Work Environment

Would work with a team of 2 architects, 2 data engineers, and all product owners per each customer/region.
