Trying to unify the app using new framework Use a lot of React.
- 7+ years of STRONG Java development
- Must have heavy webservices and have REST - MAKE SURE THEY HAVE THIS
- Java XML jquery, Hibernate and JPA are required
- PLSQL is great
- They do use tomcat and and apache is a plus
- Most of applications are in the Oracle Cloud (some cloud experience is a nice)
- Spring/MVC is a must
- Angular required
- JavaScript, API and Webservices are required
- Database experience is important
- Will assist with production support during Go Live
LOOKING FOR:
People that can do any of that… front end. Full stack developers. Design work Looking for full stack developer with atleast 5 years.
FIRST 30 DAYS:
Get them access to a dozen systems. That should happen quickly in a day or two. Then how to setup mobile app and the website document. Get it running. Walk through how it works. Then given a small ticket on making change. Then do code reviews on their solution. Then keep adding more tickets.
Skill Requirements:
- Experience with large distributed applications and building/operating highly available systems.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithm, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures.
- Core competencies in Java, XML, HTTP, Web Services (REST/SOAP).
- Strong working knowledge of Spring framework.
- Experience with HTML, JQuery, JSTL, JavaScript, AJAX and front-end frameworks.
- Experience building web applications for mobile devices.
- Deep understanding of web services software architecture and design, including security based implementations.
- Strong experience implementing transaction and management and persistence using lightweight frameworks such as JPA and Hibernate.
- Strong data modeling and database programming skills (Oracle database and PL/SQL experience a plus).
- Experience with Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, AEM a plus
- Familiarity with UNIX systems (system security model, systems administration, and advanced scripting skills) a plus.
- Understand TCP/IP networks and concepts with the ability to provide basic troubleshooting assistance to infrastructure disciplines.
- Experience with CDN’s a plus.
