Job Responsibilities: Engineer, IT Test - Lead (Sr. DevSecOps Eng)
Provide technical and people leadership for team of test engineers
Provide guidance and apply Agile (SAFe, Scrum) and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product
delivery and quality
Integrate test automation into IaC and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Terraform, and/or
Ansible
Develop, implement, and maintain modular, data-driven API and UI automated test cases, according to
Quest standards and best practices, for various applications and technology stacks, including Web
(RWD), Desktop, and Mobile applications.
Collaborate with Cloud and infrastructure teams on test automation
Provide LOE for DevSecOps related projects and products
Collaborate with Product teams in order to develop, maintain and create new processes, procedures,
and concepts relative to code creation
Participate in peer code review process to ensure quality is at the forethought of everything we create
Maintain tools and technologies utilized in the Test Automation processes related but not limited to
continuous delivery and automation deployment
Test Automation platform troubleshooting and problem-solving with cross-functional teams, across
platforms and application domains
Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements
Keeping abreast of the new Quest Diagnostics initiatives and their technical impact on the organization
Qualifications:
Education Preferred: BS/BA degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or related field,
or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Work Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in technical leadership role,
leading people
Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in software development,
of which, last 8 years needs to be in test automation or quality engineering
Minimum 5+ years of experience with Cloud platforms such as Microsoft
Azure, AWS, or GCP
Minimum 5+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI,
Jenkins, Harness, Maven, Gradle
Minimum 5+ years of experience with infrastructure automation tools
such as Terraform and/or Ansible
Minimum 5+ years of experience with Security tools such as GitLab CI,
Qualys, Contrast, Twistlock, Veracode
Minimum 5+ years of experience with Cloud database technologies such
as Aurora, CloudSQL, S3 buckets, etc.
Minimum 5+ years of experience with Agile practices including SAFe
and/or Scrum
Other: Experience with Unix/Linux, Windows Server, Tomcat, Springboot,
WebLogic, Apache/ Nginx, Redis, Java, SQL, Unix/Linux, HL7, XML, FTP,
TCP/IP preferred
Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Graphite,
Nagios, Elk Prometheus, or Splunk preferred
Experience with testing automation stack such as CucumberJS, Selenium,
or similar test automation tools is a plus
Knowledge of cloud networking such as VPC, DNS, CDN, load balancing,
and firewall
Understanding of TLS, certificates, keystore and truststore, OAUTH2.0
Experience with ticketing systems such as Service Now or HP Service
Manager is a plus
Excellent proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting issues
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational, time management, customer service,
prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
Overnight, Weekend, Holiday support on-call as required
First Shift Hours – Slight change in shift hours may be required to provide
adequate overlap of support coverage
Less than 25% Travel required for training and/or team meetings
