JOB DETAIL

 Need at least 3 years of proven business analysis experience as they need someone who can hit the ground running.

 Biggest priority will be someone who is local to Jacksonville, Florida as they want someone who can go onsite to the distribution centers for VisionCare in order to fully understand the process.

 Second priority would be someone who understand Warehouse management or distribution. Note; we have some flexibility. If it's someone local to Jax and has great agile and documentation skills but no supply chain, that is okay.

In this role, you will lead changes for multi-sector Customer Logistics teams to deliver optimization and integrity of a WMS (Warehouse Management System) and related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning and delivery for changes in distribution & warehouse at Vision Care’s Jacksonville site.
  • Integrate with PM from different projects on VISION CARE platforms when it comes to planning and execution
  • Utilize effective business analyst techniques to translate what business may want to identification of what is needed via the good use of elicitation techniques.
  • Document confirmed business processes to serve as reference for development and IT support
  • Build strong partnerships with business at different levels of the organization
  • Defines a clear vision for the software product/application and is responsible for multi-generation product strategy
  • Collaborate with business & technology stakeholders to maximizes ROI by identifying and prioritizing the product features by business value
  • Business IT interface
  • Understand the business’s needs and priorities for the product
  • Negotiate with the business and IT stakeholders to identify and what items (story points) are built and which are backlogged based on capacity, business value and priority
  • Accountable for the development work getting done correctly

  • Defines Acceptance criteria
  • Understands Product complexity and how to prioritize business requirements
  • Understands development estimates and how levels of effort impact the priority of requirements

  • Tracks progress of product development in the context of the larger program (scrum master/Build team owns day to day burn down charts)
  • Partners with Scrum Master to estimate development effort
  • Reports back to the business on status of the delivery of features, functionality, and applications
  • Has a combination of global and regional accountability depending on Product Line scope
  • Manages large, International (cross region) and complex projects under tight time pressure
  • Define team goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Coordinate, lead, coach, motivate and inspire the team to both deliver on agreed plans and to continuously improve, innovate and exceed.
  • Develop and coach the individuals to maximize their growth and development
  • Manage to assure compliance and adherence to all regulatory and business requirements and inspire a Credo driven team
  • Collaborate with business and build teams to resolves business and technical challenges to deliver on time, within budget and high quality to ensure realization of business benefits
  • Effectively communicate team expectations and status to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.·

Qualifications - External

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, an advanced degree is strongly preferred 

 

Experience and Skills: 

  • Required:
  • Ability to translate business requirements into Functional Epics/Stories/Use Cases. 
  • Experience working across multiple levels of business and IT stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of technology trends and to apply this knowledge to existing business processes.
  • Strong technology knowledge and how to apply that technology to support business processes.
  • Understanding of Warehouse Management and Logistics System functionality. Ability to determine capabilities and limitations of existing WMS.
  • Strong understanding of databases systems, especially SQL (DDL as well as DML)
  • Strong personal commitment to continuous business improvement, and effectively collaborating and managing our business stakeholders
  • Capable of working as part of a team and on own initiative. Capable to change priorities quickly and influence others to do so.
  • Capable of leading, coaching and influencing others.
  • Ability embrace changes and to deliver IT solutions in a fast changing business/IT environment.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment and working closely with shared services organization
  • Previous experience in working in a global, cross-functional capacity is required.

Preferred: 

  • Experience in Logistics, technology leadership experience 
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (Agile/Scrum preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of database technology, good knowledge of supply chain order fulfilment business processes and healthcare industry. 
  • Very strong program/project management and budgeting skills. 
  • Previous experience in working in a global, cross-functional capacity is required. 
  • Demonstrated ability to apply IT technology to solve business problems, understanding of the Java/J2EE platform. 
  • Ability to read code and design artifacts for the platform. 
  • Very good written and oral communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and strong negotiating skills. 
  • Ability to create a strategic plan around key business drivers. 
  • Ability to present ideas in front of business and technical stakeholders. 
  • Product Owner certification is a plus, 
  • PMP / FPX certification is a plus
