- Bachelor's degree in either Science, Information Technology, Mathematics.
- Demonstrable 10 years of solid experience in Java, J2EE in a large enterprise environment.
- 6 years of hands-on experience with web services, micro services.
- Strong knowledge of Java, application web services (REST or SOAP), Spring framework/Spring Boot is a must.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL.
- Tomcat and WebSphere application server knowledge are a must.
- Experience with Unit and Integration Testing, familiarity with (at least 1) testing and mocking framework.
- Basic UNIX/Linux user experience.
- Experience with CI(/CD) pipelines (e.g. Git lab), building and dependency management tools (e.g. Maven).
- Strong analytical, problem solving, debugging skills.
- Experience with enterprise integration and messaging related technologies such as JMS, MQ and/or Kafka
- Nice to have knowledge of one of the UI frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular. React preferred.
- Nice to have knowledge of one of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP. Azure preferred.
Nice to have exposure on Cloud integration, Container services and good understanding of Agile based execution processes.
