About This Role:
The Data Engineering & Data Science Practice is comprised of agile teams consisting of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Agile Delivery Leaders, and Data Governance Analysts. In this role, you’ll be working on post-processing support and serve as a significant part of an agile team that’s focused on supporting a world-renowned Academic Medical Center.
· Develop and maintain best in class PowerBI visualizations.
· Typical use cases are largely greenspace as business sponsors have new access to self-service data.
· Participates in requirement-gathering sessions with business sponsors.
· Participates in discussions with team members to understand needs and objectives.
· Utilizes best practice visualization strategies and with the communication skills to recommend new visual reporting solutions.
· Create complex ad-hoc and recurring business intelligence reporting and live dashboard solutions.
· Develops, maintains and modernizes existing products that include complex SQL statements.
· Develops and maintains automated processes using various tools and technologies.
· Implements security protocols through PowerBI.
Skills & Experience Necessary:
· 5+ years of experience creating reports and dashboards from a layered data lake
· 5+ years of experience creating complex enterprise dashboards of varying KPI’s with multiple layers and audience segments within PowerBI
· 4+ years of experience collecting reporting requirements from business stakeholders and delivering iterative visualizations
· 4+ years of experience writing complex SQL and extracting data from databases
· 2+ years of working closely with data architects and engineers in an agile fashion
