Summary: AWSSr. Cloud / Solutions / Enterprise Architect - This position willproactively work with the Infrastructure team, IT application teams, and thebusiness to deliver highly effective projects and support model for systemadministration practice.
Required skills:
- Subject Matter Expert in AWS Public cloud, including professional experience architecting and operating solutions built on AWS
- Experience with hybrid Cloud environments
- Experience assessing, planning, designing, and migrating/transforming legacy applications to AWS Cloud
- Lead by example: Has the desire and drive to be a hands-on Engineer advancing the software product features and functions to the end customer while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by finding solutions that increase efficiency, accelerate the adoption of new technologies and enhance profitability
- Understanding of AWS Cloud technologies at IaaS layer (network, compute, storage) and managed services such as RDS, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, ElastiCache, ElasticBean Stalk, IAM, Cognito and others
- Communicates with managerial, administrative and technical staff to determine information needs, data flows and systems definitions.
- Executes information systems projects, including leading projects, risk management, testing, documentation and training.
- Develops tactical and strategic plans, standards, guidelines and policies for the server resources based on growth, trends, available metrics, etc.
- Coordinates IT changes and follows formal change control process in order to eliminate customer impact and to ensure that availability Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Manages the distribution and retention of data on servers.
- Installs, configures, and maintains server environment in support of business processing requirements.
- Performs software installations, patching, upgrades to server operating systems and layered software packages and maintains them in accordance with established policies, procedures and service level agreements.
- Develops tactical and strategic plans, standards, guidelines and policies for the system resources based on growth, trends, available metrics, etc.
- Ensures infrastructure integrity by evaluating, implementing and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Oversees day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.

- Certified AWS solution Architect

- Working knowledge of AWS and other cloud platforms

- Hands on experience on AWS serverless stack (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch)

- Experience in AWS DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline, Caching, CloudFormation templates, Auto Scaling, Batch etc

- Expertise in a wide variety of database technologies (Oracle, DB2, MySql, Postgres)

- Experience developing or architecting cloud-hosted, responsive web applications using Java

- Awareness of security policies, experience with LDAP, OAuth2/OIDC

- Hands-on experience with React.js or Vue.js, and Node.js

- Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs

- System Administration experience of Linux (OEL/RedHat/RHEL) with at least 4 years of experience.

- Experience with ESX, Virtual Center and Oracle VM x86

- Experience with Storage Systems (Hitachi preferred) and NAS appliances

- Experience with Storage Area Networks (Brocade)

- Experience with Veritas NetBackup including policies, backups and restores
