We are looking for highly skilled programmers with five plus years’ experience building web applications in Java. The candidates should be team players willing to take on the different challenges that present themselves. 

Responsibilities

· Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

· Write clean, well designed and efficient code

· Ensure designs and code are in compliance with specifications 

· Debug and resolve technical problems that arise.

· Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

· Prepare technical documentation and user assistance material as needed.

Skills 

· Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication.

· Proven working experience in Java development

· Experience with JavaServer pages (JSP) and servlets

· Familiarity with different design and architectural patterns

· Basic understanding of the concepts of MVC (Model-View-Controller) Pattern, JDBC (Java Database Connectivity), and RESTful web services

· Experience with the Spring Framework     

· In-depth knowledge of web technologies such as like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery

· Proficient in writing SQL queries, with general understanding of relational database design and structures.  Experience with PL/SQL a plus.

· Working knowledge of code versioning tools: Git, CVS

· Understanding of building tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc.

· Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins

· General DevOps experience a plus
