Job Description:
Project Requirements Manager: Performs product or project specific requirements management activities.
The activities require close collaboration with the product or project participants from system, software, safety, test and software project management teams.
The Project Requirements Manager defines and ensures the engineering process compliant project Requirements Management strategy, methods, infrastructure, requirements management tool usage and information models for the projects and its sub projects.
This includes the initial and continuous maintenance of the project requirements infrastructure, link modules, attributes, views and templates, measurement, and metric generation.
The Project Requirements Manager is the interface between external stakeholders and ZF regarding the technical requirements specifications exchange.

 
Roles & Responsibilities:
•    Provide tool guideline and assistance to the project team and other stakeholders
•    Determine requirements metrics /KPIs and support reporting them to stakeholder (eg customer, engineers, discipline leads, engineering project managers, management)
◦    [Note] As Systems Engineering is responsible for all requirements (across all disciplines) the metrics /KPIs shall be determined covering all aspects of requirements (stakeholder requirements, systems engineering level requirements, software level, ....)
•    Identify formal findings and violations of the standard and report them to the discipline or overall project manager (eg quality of requirements, formatting issues, attributes, linkage, traceability concept not followed)
•    Identify obsolete or non-project related modules and enforce that these get removed as agreed with the project based on performed analysis
•    Identify and report nonstandard conform templates used for requirement specifications to the discipline or overall project manager or higher escalation level if required

Required Skills:
•    Import /export external requirements into the requirements repository (e.g., Stakeholder Requirements), add attributes and views required by defined engineering processes
•    Set up requirements management environment including repository, requirements metrics, project specific part of requirements management plans for all disciplines
•    Create and modify attributes that have been requested by the projects AND that have been approved by the dedicated process change control board - EEPM Requirement CCB
•    Create, modify, delete standard views that have been requested by the projects AND that have been approved by the dedicated process change control board - EEPM Requirement CCB
•    Create "link modules" and "link sets" following the Requirements Management Traceability method
•    Create new requirement modules ensuring that the correct templates and standards are used
•    Define the stakeholder specific requirements exchange mechanism
•    Project management incl. agile methods
•    System and software engineering
•    Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (IREB certified)
•    Advanced knowledge in techniques and tools of requirements engineering and management
•    Methods, procedures, and techniques required by functional safety standard (ISO 26262)
•    Methods, procedures, and techniques required by cyber security standard (ISO 21434)
