JOB DETAIL

7 - 10 experience administering various multi - Terabyte , 24x7 uptime Oracle databases as an Application or Systems / Infrastructure DBA required
Strong experience working with Oracle RAC version 11gR2 in a Linux environment required
Experience working with Exadata from an application or operations standpoint is required
Strong , proven Oracle Database Performance Diagnostic skills (at both the SQL and system levels) required: familiarity with AWR , ASH , Sql Explain , iostat , vmstat etc
Strong programming experience in PL / SQLExperience with running environments that make use of GoldenGate , Active Data Guard and / or Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) strongly preferred.
Experience with Backup and Recovery using Oracle RMAN
Self - starter capability , ability to acquire new skills autonomously
Demonstrably solid written and verbal communication skills to drive projects to successful conclusion
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
