•             Strong SQL Scripting Experience

•             Hands on experience in data warehousing ETL/ELT processes -ODI or similar (informatica, DataStage, SSIS)

•             Good knowledge on QA automation using SQL and python

•             Understand the requirements and design specifications, technical documents, source to target mapping documents and other related documentation from testing perspective.

•             Create and maintain the test strategy document for ETL tasks and also other related applications which communicate with ETL tools and technologies.

•             Design the test cases as per test plan and user specs.

•             Estimate the efforts required to design the test cases and execute the project.

•             Traceability of requirements to test cases.

•             Create Test Plan, Test Scenario, Test Cases and Test Scripts to validate source and Target data.

•             Play a key role in the development/automation of SQL queries while preparing the test case scripts.

•             Test data creation in case of the onsite/offshore model and if the data is sensitive.

•             Test data creation for volumetric testing and any performance testing. This also includes the test cases for capacity planning.

•             Creating, maintaining and executing Re-usable scripts.

•             Execute test scripts including pre-requisites, detailed instructions and anticipated results.

•             Execute back end data-driven test cases.

•             Performing RCA (Root Cause Analysis) of the failed test cases and provide the related data samples to client.

•             Responsible for reviewing of test plans for team members to ensure high quality deliverables.

•             Coordinating with the client and getting proper updates from Onsite (if the project setup is based on onsite offshore model).

•             Incorporate UAT test cases into testing.

•             Identify the bugs/issues/problem and provide solutions for potential issues based on the knowledge acquired on the application.

•             Provide observations of the overall system which are not expected and could potentially be bugs.

•             Help with the analysis of issues and Data Reconciliation.

•             Onsite communications and co-ordination with clients on test cases created.

•             Create, compile and provide test reports and Metrics.

•             Provide support to business during the UAT phase.

•             Execute any data migration related tasks and provide feedback on the automated migration steps and queries

 

•             Preferable knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL

 

Requirements:

• "Requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Math (any), Science (any), Engineering (any), Technology (any), or a related field.

 

Required skills:

• SQL Scripting, Python scripting, QA testing experience.
