C#, WinForms, Web Services (SOAP/REST), SQL,

soliciting resumes for a Consultant to fill a position assisting the Day Ahead and Related Market Applications department.

This resource can be fully remote

Primary Responsibilities

Consultant will actively participate on the team responsible for development and support of internal .NET applications. The Consultant will be required to:

• Perform software changes involving Microsoft .NET, SQL and PL/SQL Technologies
• Make changes in related software specifications
• Assist with the development of test conditions and scenarios

Minimum Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Master’s degree highly preferred.

Experience

Minimum five years’ programming experience in the United States.

Required Knowledge

• Microsoft .NET, C#, WinForms, WCF, Web Services (SOAP/REST based), Microsoft web frameworks; Windows operating system, services and commands; SQL & RDBMS; GIT & CVS source code management tool.

Experience with 3rdparty control libraries like Syncfusion, Telerik RAD etc.

Desired Knowledge

• Agile Methodology; Linux OS, Java; Automated testing frameworks and QA automation

Skills and Attributes

• Proven experience with Microsoft .NET development of Windows/Web/WCF applications using C#
• Experience with software design and development best practices (e.g. test-driven development, ORM, profiling API, debugging)
