- They will utilize various technologies and develop processes for the administration, management, and maintenance of Salesforce applications and services. They are passionate about administering and supporting high-quality systems utilizing industry best practices.
- They will contribute to an experienced and energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule and help to execute the CI/CD process and overall SDLC together with other team members.
- This role will be expected to provide guidance to less experienced Salesforce administrators, proactively monitor health of the Salesforce orgs, support platform and third party updates, and provide support for software solutions to meet business objectives.
Salesforce Administrator Qualifications:
1 to 2 years of experience in the following:
- Understanding of Features and Functionality of the Salesforce Non Profit Success Pack (NPSP) preferred
- Experience in Salesforce Service Cloud and Community Cloud implementations preferred
- Understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud and Community Cloud customization practices preferred
- Experience in Salesforce platform technologies, including API integration work preferred
- Experience in proactively monitoring Salesforce and third-party managed package updates for impact to customizations and configuration changes. Works with the team to handle managed package updates, proficient in issue resolution due to such updates
- Experience with data mapping, extraction and loading using Salesforce Data Loader or other similar tools a plus
- Experience selecting technologies aligning to the platform with ability to develop POCs to prove capabilities of technology a plus
- Experience building solutions with cloud storage providers such as Azure Blob Storage or Amazon S3 at the API level a plus
- Experience in the successful execution of Salesforce updates to completion
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Platform and its architecture
- Solid data handling strategies including understanding platform limits, how to architect on platform vs near platform, leveraging big objects, when to use custom objects vs extending existing objects
- Experience in case management, including multi-level hierarchies
- Proficient in developing Workflows on the Lightning platform
- Proficient in automating processes using Lightning Process Builder
- Proficient with Salesforce troubleshooting, ability to quickly identify areas impacted by an issue and to propose solutions on the fly, working hand in hand with Salesforce Support and other resources as needed to resolve in a timely manner
- Experience in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards
3 to 5 years of experience in the following:
- Experience in supporting live production systems environment including pushing changes to production
- Experience using source code controls like TFS, GitHub, BitBucket, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Excellent understanding of software development best practices, including patterns of software architecture and enterprise patterns
- Understanding of the SOLID principles of software development and how to apply them
- Experience in the application of enterprise patterns (Service Layer, Domain Model, etc.)
- Experience in one or more of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, XML/XSL
- Successfully designed and deployed solutions using n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer)
- Experience in working with relational databases, understands normalization concepts. Able to read and understand ER diagrams
- Experience in working on an agile / scrum development team
- Knowledgeable in all scrum ceremonies and artifacts
