Role and Responsibilities
- Develop well structured, easily maintained code
- Participate in cross-functional efforts to build out web application platforms
- Partner with technical teams to devise or modify procedures/processes to solve complex problems
- Interact with clients to clearly understand and clarify requirements
- Ensure new or existing systems meet business requirements and practices; all application interface issues/concerns are understood, documented, and addressed satisfactorily
- Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality; adherence to established technical standards
- Provide production support to existing systems
- Prepare estimates for complex projects to provide leads/managers with information needed to accurately forecast project delivery dates
- Prepare documentation of developed programs and processes
- Utilize functional knowledge of the B2C and B2B processes
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in SFCC (Demandware), with experience in 2+ SFCC implementations
- 3-5+ years of Java or JavaScript experience
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases
- 2+ years of experience working with XML data import and export activities
- Experienced in B2B, B2C, multi-site and multi-country, end-to-end implementations of SFCC eCommerce applications
- Experience in design and development of third party (backend) integrations like address/shipping/tax validation, payment, CRM, OMS, PIM
- Proficient with UX Studio
- Strong ability to balance multiple responsibilities and take initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving skills
- Flexible, team oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and passionate. Ability to perform in a fast paced and highly interactive team environment
- Experience with tagging and testing tools a plus
- Awareness of/experience in DevOps a plus
Information Security and Data Privacy
- Ensure any sensitive information of the project/organization stays protected as per the guidelines of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and report any breach, vulnerability or threat to the respective Data Protection Officer (DPO) without delay
- Ensure all data of the customer/organization processed must be done on one of the following lawful bases: consent, contract, legal obligation, vital interests, public task or legitimate interests
- Adherence to GDPR and ISMS standards to value privacy at every level
