Required Skills S/4HANA Record to Report FI TAX With Vertex Configuration

• SAP FI Application support and development activities - handling support tickets, changes, enhancements, test management, governance process.

• Unit Testing, Integration Testing

• Resolving and providing guidance on tough technical issue, build knowledge database and respond to escalations.

• Client interaction for new change or enhancement in the system - this will include initial business requirement discussion, analyzing the system, proposing the change, executing the change, developing a master test plan and execution of same.

• Work on all FI related incidents reported in the Service Now tool and provide resolutions.

• Closely worked with QA team for testing of Developments. Perform unit testing and co-ordinate with business to get the UAT done and sign-off.

• Perform unit testing and co-ordinate with business to team to get the UAT done and sign-off.

• Participate in CAB(Change Approval Board) call to get the fixes/enhancements approved.

Vertex

• 5 to 7 years Vertex experience in S/4 HANA STS & SAP FI Tax Configuration, Tax Procedure, and MM Pricing Procedure

• Support customers in their definition of tax business process requirements.

• Prepare technical specification documents to define how the Vertex and ERP systems should be configured to realize business requirements

• Participate in Most phases of a vertex software implementation with country-specific rules.

• Execute Vertex functional test cases.

• Support Tax and Vertex issues in the production systems.

• To come up with the proposal of automating the redundant tasks (Specific to Tax system Process)

• Build stable working relationships within the workgroup as well as with Integral and external system integrators

• Document existing and new process and workflow in detail and at summary level including any flow diagrams

• Ability to understand and modify the Tax Area ID Lookup, Rate lookup tables in Vertex.

• Test the Vertex/ERP interface; including analysis of Vertex & ERP logs

• Having an experience on medium or large sized engagements within the SAP S/4HANA suite is an added advantage.
