Design, develop, and administer the performance and functions of complex, mission-critical databases for Oracle and SAP enterprise resource planning systems; analyze user requirements and existing databases; design database objectives, business process flow, and technical specifications; perform data modeling, ETL (Extract Transform Load), data analytics, data cloning, data archiving, reporting, and upgrade; provide remote support of departmental and enterprise-wide database systems; conduct storage capacity planning; install, configure, and implement databases; plan and implement database backup and recovery procedures; migrate data between disparate systems; develop performance and configuration test plan; test database to ensure proper performance; identify database performance issues; develop proactive solutions and corrective measures; document database problems; set up advanced database replication for multi-sites; configure replication manager to monitor replication activity and conflict resolution; set up standby database and data guard; administer and monitor multiple servers across heterogeneous platforms and locations; and optimize database availability and performance.
