- Advanced Power BI/Power Query development experience with the ability to recommend/develop solutions to business problems
- Strong experience in building & analysing data models derived from complex data structures
- Experience working with multi-dimensional, star schema models
- Strong DAX knowledge – ex. CALCULATE, basic arithmetic functions, Time Intelligence, etc.
- Strong SQL skills - must be able to design and optimize queries as well as make data structure recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – experience working with business stakeholders and senior leaders
- Experience writing technical documentation/diagrams
- Experience translating high level business requirements into visual solutions
